A story has a start, a middle and an end. But that story doesn't have to be your complete life story. There are many reasons why people choose a 'Story Collection' over a full memoir. Maybe you don't want to talk about all chapters of your life. Or you feel you don't have enough content from your military career for a full memoir but you have plenty of stories from the time you did spend serving. If you would like all of the chapters in your book to start with 'There was this one time when...' then this is the package for you!

Your book content will be guided by our 'Anecdotes' interview which will start off by asking you to set the scene for this particular story. The rest of the interview will be largely guided by you, as no story is the same. But you might be prompted to talk about other people who were involved in this story or any wider impact the event had on you. It is entirely up to you what you talk about and if you don't want to answer a question you can just skip it - there is no judgement here. You can repeat the interview as many times as you like and there is no length to aim for. Some stories may only be a few lines long, others might run to a few pages.

You also don't have to complete each interview in one go. If you remember more details or want to carry on at a later date you can repeat the interview, as many times as you want to.

As well as the 'Anecdotes' interview we give you a chance to create a prelude and a dedication. These are optional but can be used to create scene setters for your overall story collection.

The word limit is 30000 words which equates to around 120 pages plus photos. There is no limit to the number of photos you can include. You may want to include photos with the stories that they relate to or keep them together in the centre of the book. We will do a full edit once you have finished your interviews, merging all of your responses and adding your photos. Once we are happy, we'll send it to you for you to approve before we send it to the printers.

The cover is up to you - if you have a photo you would like to feature on the cover that's great but equally we can design a cover based on the content of your book. This is your book - personal to you, we don't limit you to templated designs.

Your high quality hardback books are printed in full colour and you receive 5 as part of the 'Story Collection' package. If, once you've completed you book, you feel that you would like to progress to a 'Full Memoir' then as long as you want to include your content from your 'Story Collection' book then you just pay the difference between the two packages to carry on! The cost of this package is £995.
